Health Care

San Angelo is a regional medical hub with two growing health care systems and other facilities providing long-term care and specialized healthcare services. Over 5,000 people work in the health care sector in San Angelo. This sector is supported by Angelo State University’s undergraduate nursing program, which produces the most graduates of any major, and its graduate kinesiology program. Howard College offers nine programs for professions in health care.
